An upbeat and contemporary-sounding collection of favorite traditional Christmas carols - "Angels We Have Heard on High", "Deck the Halls", "Ding Dong! Merrily on High", "Hark! The Herald Angels Sing" and "Joy to the World".
The solo part is written to be fairly easy to play having a limited range and presenting only modest technical challenges. Cellist NOTE - passages in OCTAVES - select either high or low octave. Double stop passages (in 6ths) - as written.
An .MP3 of the Accompanient is available (found HERE) and is highly recommended both for practice and in lieu of an accompanist - this recording is cleared for any performance situations.
This collection is appropriate for Church services or in a concert setting.
