The Magnificat, also known as the Canticle of Mary, is a canticle found in the Gospel of Luke (1:46–55). It is traditionally incorporated into the liturgical services of various Christian denominations, including the Catholic Church, the Eastern Orthodox Church, the Lutheran Churches, and the Anglican Communion.

This is the second release in a series of three SATB a cappella canticles for the Liturgy of the Hours. The first one, Nunc Dimittus was released in late 2023. The third one, Benedictus, will be released sometime in 2025. They will then be available as a set as well as individually.
